An article published yesterday on Computerworld ('Building resilient data centres') contained the incorrect statement that NextDC's Brisbane's B1 data centre was affected by the 2010-11 floods. Computerworld apologises for the error. In fact, Queensland's history of floods was taken into account in the design of the data centre, which opened after the 2010-11 floods. We also note that siting and design of NextDC's M1 data centre have also been selected to avoid flood risks.
