Cloud finance and automation software vendor BlackLine has hired Todd Hunt for the newly created role of Asia Pacific vice president and general manager.
Based in Sydney, Hunt’s main responsibility is growing the vendor’s business in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Japan.
BlackLine employs five staff at its Sydney office but is planning to increase this to 11 within the next six months.
The vendor has over 100 customers in APAC including Optus, Bunnings, Coles, Qantas Airways and Bank of New Zealand. Accounting/finance managers and compliance executives use its cloud-based product to automate financial processes.
