iiNet Darwin fibre break repaired

Affected customers will need to reset their modems, says ISP

iiNet’s network partner ,NextGen Networks, has repaired a fibre break which affected approximately 4000 of the ISP's customers in Darwin yesterday.

Broadband and NetPhone services were restored at 7pm Western Standard Time (WST) last night.

The fibre break occurred approximately 200 kilometres south of Darwin. Links between Darwin, Adelaide and Brisbane were affected.

The ISP said that affected customers will need to perform a modem reset before they can connect to the Internet again.
