Church Resources signs five-year deal

Group buying organisation Church Resources has signed a five-year deal Optus Business, the telco announced today.

Church Resources provides procurement services to not-for-profit organisations. Its 2014 annual report said it had 18,000 members.

Church Resources will offer mobile and fixed line telephony and data services from Optus to its members.

"We have been a major provider of mobile telephone and fixed line services to Australian church groups for over 16 years now," Luke Kenny, the CEO of Church Resources said in a statement.

"Our new partnership with Optus allows Church Resources to leverage our buying power to support all Australian not-for-profit organisations, not just [churces].

"This new agreement supports our vision to drive business transformation through the adoption of digital technology across the not-for-profit sector, enabled by a comprehensive mobile and data network capability."
