Websense confirmed this week that former Australian and New Zealand country manager, Gerry Tucker, has left the security firm for a new role at NICE Systems.

Tucker had been at the company for over three years. Prior to taking on the A/NZ country manager role in April 2012, he was Websense A/NZ regional sales manager. Tucker is now A/NZ managing director of data analytics vendor, NICE Systems.

Tucker’s replacement is Guy Eilon who has taken up the role of country manager and senior director of regional sales for A/NZ, based in Sydney.

Originally from Israel, Eilon joined Websense in 2009 as Mediterranean regional manager. After three years in the role, he was promoted to South East Europe regional manager.

After two years, he became South East Europe, Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States regional director.

“We see the [A/NZ] region as a market full of opportunities. Local organisations are looking for IT security solutions to better manage risk and protect them from a variety of emerging threats across all aspects of the business,” said Eilon in a statement.
