NAB launches point of sale app for small businesses

iPhone, Android app works with a Bluetooth card reader and smartphone

National Australia Bank (NAB) has introduced a free iOS and Android point of sale app called NAB Now for small business owners.

Using a smartphone, the app and a Bluetooth card reader means small business owners can accept credit and debit card payments from customers.

The app is designed to speed up PoS transactions for small business owners. According to NAB, small business customers will receive payment to their NAB business transaction account on the same day.

NAB Now accepts Visa, MasterCard and EFTPOS card transactions. It also generates email receipts for customers. Small business customers are being offered 24/7 support from NAB’s merchant service centre.
