Intel Security senior vice president of worldwide channel operations Gavin Struthers has been promoted to Asia Pacific president.

He replaced Andrew Littleproud who has left the company. Littleproud was in the APAC president role for two years.

Struthers will be responsible for the vendor’s operations in Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand.

He has worked at McAfee, which is now part of Intel Security, for 12 years in several roles including A/NZ regional director.

Based in Singapore, he said the APAC region is rife with opportunity.

“My goal is to help Intel Security become our customer’s number one security partner.”
