Dept of the Prime Minister & Cabinet signs Kaspersky for device security

Department using vendor’s products to protect devices

The Department of the Prime Minister & Cabinet is now using Kaspersky Lab security products to protect staff devices.

The department employs close to 2500 people.

Kaspersky Lab Australia and New Zealand managing director Andrew Mamonitis said its strategy has been geared towards collaborations with government agencies.

“This includes the provision of policy and technological proposals to deal with the cyber threats to Australia,” he said in a statement.

The DPMC said it does not comment on security-related matters.
