CSG revenue up 8% in first half

CSG reports revenue of $116.9 million for 1H16

ASX-listed IT services firm CSG has reported revenue of $116.9 million for the six months ending 31 December.

CSG’s revenue was up 8 per cent in the half compared to 1H15. The company reported underlying EBITDA of $17.3 million (up 12 per cent on the prior comparative period).

Contract wins in the half CSG’s first ‘communications with as a service’ deal. The contract with an unnamed global financial services company is worth $2.5 million over five years.

CSG has successfully repositioned itself as a ‘technology as a service’ provider, the company said. All of its technology as a service products have now been released, and the first full half of selling will be in the second half of FY16.

In January it released its ‘Total Office’ bundle which targets smaller businesses and includes desktop, communications and support.

“With the release of CSG’s Total Office bundle in 2H FY16, we now have a complete suite product suite capable of delivering a single source technology service to our customers,” CSG CEO Julie-Ann Kerin said in a statement.

CSG confirmed its forecast of underlying EBITDA to be in the range of $38 million to $42 million, and revenue in excess of $255 million (representing a 14 per cent on FY15).
