Jetstar has appointed a new chief information officer to replace Grainne Kearns. Claudine Ogilvie, currently CIO at Ridley Corporation, will take on the role from mid-August.
Jetstar in April began seeking a new CIO as it prepared for changes to how it managed technology within the business.
Kearns is overseeing the transition before she departs the airline.
Kearns was recruited to help bolster Jetstar’s IT systems as the group grew to encompass four airlines: Jetstar Australia and New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and Vietnam.
“We’ve made significant strides with our technology strategy during the past three years and Claudine inherits a great platform to build upon,” Jetstar CFO Race Strauss said in a statement.
“I’m very much looking forward to working with the talented team at Jetstar to drive innovation and optimise the technology platform for the benefit of customers and the organisation,” Ogilvie said.
Claudine has been CIO at Ridley since late 2013.
