Community Alliance Credit Union (CACU), which brings together Illawarra Credit Union, Catalyst Money and Western City Credit Union, will next year roll out a new core banking system.
Melbourne headquartered Ultradata has announced that CACU has selected it to roll out a new core banking platform in mid-2017.
Ultradata will also implement a number of multi-channel digital banking tools for the credit union.
“Choosing Ultradata was a strategic decision to enable significant operational improvements and to position us for the long term with respect to technology capability,” CACU deputy CEO and transformation project leader Anthony Perkiss said in a statement.
Perkiss said that members of CACU’s credit unions “will enjoy the same banking experience regardless of which banking channel they choose to use — be it traditional retail banking face to face with our people or using a mobile app.”
“We want our members to have the most convenient banking service and embrace all the latest digital channels,” Perkiss said.
