Former Coles CIO takes top IT role at Linfox

Conrad Harvey appointed Linfox CIO

Logistics company Linfox has appointed Conrad Harvey to the role of chief information officer, its CEO has confirmed.

“The appointment of Conrad to the position of CIO will help Linfox to further advance its industry leading IT and proprietary software systems,” said Linfox CEO Annette Carey.

“We welcome Conrad to the Linfox team and look forward to his leadership in this area of our business.”

Harvey was formerly CIO at supermarket chain Coles, departing the company in December 2014 as part of a restructure.

Harvey was at Coles for more than a decade, initially joining the group to lead the implementation of the Retek merchandising system in Coles Myer’s supermarkets and liquor businesses.

In late 2004 he was appointed general manager, IT strategy, architecture and program delivery, helping implement a business transformation program at Coles Group. In early 2008 he was appointed Coles Group CIO.
