HP is planning to unveil several new products and services next week, tailored for small and medium businesses.
HP's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Carly Fiorina will preside over a launch event next Thursday, Sept. 18, in Washington.
"We will be unveiling information about products and services to help small businesses be more productive and operate more efficiently, especially ones that don't have a dedicated IT staff," the spokesman said. More information will be released next week, he said.
The launch event will take place during the Small Business Administration's National Entrepreneurial Conference and Expo scheduled for Sept. 17 through Sept. 19 in Washington.
HP released several new products for small and medium business customers already this year, including new notebooks and desktops. In May, the company also funded the launch of the Information Technology Solution Providers Alliance, a group developed to help large vendors reach small and medium businesses more effectively through a variety of distribution channels.
