Nortel Signs With CWO For ASP Shot

Nortel Networks and Cable and Wireless Optus have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enable a Sydney-based Internet Data Centre to speed Optus' expansion into the application service provider (ASP) market.

To be established in Ultimo by the end of October, the IDC will have access to the existing Optus Internet Protocol backbone and will be the first Australian Internet Data Centre to offer DWDM (dense wave-division multiplexing) connectivity.
