The InfoWorld Test Center annually chooses the finest enterprise technologies and solutions for its Product of the Year awards. To be considered for an award, a product must meet two requirements.
1. In the calendar year, the product was either included in a Test Center Comparison or, if it was a newly shipping product, tested in a Product Review.
2. The product received a score of 7.0 or higher if included in a Test Center Comparison or a score of "very good" or "excellent" if tested in a Product Review.
These are the first steps we take in narrowing down the long list of products tested throughout the year. InfoWorld Test Center editors and analysts then nominate and vote in each category for those products that captured their attention. No nominations for these awards are accepted from sources outside the Test Center.
