SAN FRANCISCO (04/11/2000) - Due to a reporting error, incorrect speeds were listed for two Intel Corp. chips in the story "Intel Plans Timna Release This Year" posted April 10. Intel has not announced a clock speed for its forthcoming Timna chip and the company's upcoming Willamette chip will run at clock speeds greater than 1 GHz, not at 1GHz as previously reported. The story has been corrected on the wire.
