Kyocera has signed a deal with Tech Pacific to distribute its laser printing products in New Zealand.
Tech Pacific, which already distributes Kyocera products throughout Australia, will join Dove Electronics as the only two distributors in the New Zealand channel.
Kyocera's printer range is designed for both the small office and the corporate clients. The company hopes its alliance with Tech Pacific will help it grow in the NZ market, according to managing director for Australia and New Zealand, David Finn.
"The agreement with Tech Pacific in New Zealand will enable us to consolidate our channel partner network throughout the region," he said.
Tech Pacific also waxed optimistic about the partnership. "Kyocera are ranked amongst the top printer agencies in terms of market share," said Tech Pacific's New Zealand marketing manager Scott Cowen. "We are looking forward to satisfying the demand for products of Kyocera's calibre within our market and feel sure that this new association will lead to a great period of growth within the region."
