Ahhhh Halloween. When you were a kid it was a time to eat too much candy and dress up as a ghost, but now that you're a mature GeekTech-reading adult, Halloween's a time for geeky cultural references and overly elaborate Halloween costumes like this "working" Portal shirt from master hacker Ben Heck.

Heck hacked together the Portal-inspired shirt for Episode 4 of his Ben Heck Show by attaching a chest-mounted LCD screen attached to a camera hidden in the back of the shirt. The whole thing runs off of a battery hidden in Heck's pocket.

While the costume may not be able to instantly transport matter (yet), it does have one significant advantage over Aperture Science's technology: you can actually have it. Heck is holding a contest on the Ben Heck Show site where one lucky winner will actually get the Portal Shirt. All you have to do is follow this link and then answer a quick and easy question about the Ben Heck Show.

Unfortunately the contest runs until November 5, so if you want to wear the Portal shirt for Halloween this year you'll either need to make one yourself or start getting your working Dr. Who outfit together.
