iOS 4.3 already jailbroken the day after its release

An 'alpha version' of an untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3 has already been created

It was literally yesterday (Wednesday) that Apple released iOS 4.3, and just a little over 24 hours later, it's already been jailbroken.

That's right, everyone; people are getting much faster at messing with Apple software, including the most recent humiliation to Safari. According to Daily iPhone Blog, an "alpha version" of an untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3 has already been created and is shown (allegedly) to be working in this teaser video.

For those unfamiliar with the terminology, "unthethered" means that you don't need to keep jailbreaking your iDevice whenever you turn it off or restart it. On the other hand, a "tethered" jailbreak is just the opposite, meaning that your iDevice will be fully functional, but will require you to go through the process of jailbreaking the device every time that you need to turn it off or restart it (but let's be honest, if you know anyone who has jailbroken an iDevice recently, it involves no more than a few clicks and plugging in the device to your computer, so I don't see what the big fuss is all about...).

To be realistic, this shouldn't come to anyone as any real shock, given that the iOS 4.3 beta for developers was jailbroken way before iOS 4.2.1.

Given this relatively quick release, it shouldn't be too long until a beta or full release is unleashed. At this rate it might even be ready by 5:00pm tomorrow -- just in time for you know what.
