Samsung releases second Galaxy S IV teaser video

Samsung has released a second teaser video for its upcoming Galaxy S IV Android phone

Samsung has released a second teaser video for its upcoming Galaxy S IV Android phone.

The new video again reveals no new information about the hotly anticipated handset. It continues the story from the first trailer, showing a boy taking home his secret package presumably containing the Galaxy S IV.

The Galaxy S IV hasn't officially been announced yet but will be unveiled on Thursday 14 March (Friday 15 March, Australian time) at a press event in New York.

The device is one of the most hotly-anticipated Android phones of 2013 and is the successor to Samsung's popular Galaxy S III smartphone.

The Galaxy S IV is widely expected to feature a 1.8GHz quad-core processor, a 4.99in Super AMOLED full HD display, and a 13-megapixel camera.

It is likely to be constructed of sturdy plastic, following a similar lead set by previous Samsung Android phones like the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II.

Samsung announced in January that it had sold more than 100 million smartphones in the Galaxy series since the original Galaxy S launch in May 2010.
