In brief: PayPal Australia appoints new MD

PayPal Australia has hired a new vice president and managing director Libby Roy to replace Jeff Clementz.

Clementz was in the role for three years and is returning to the United States to be vice president of compliance operational excellence in global operations for PayPal.

Roy was previously director of corporate super at AMP. Her task will include identifying new opportunities for PayPal.

“I am looking forward to targeting new solutions for our merchant partners in an ever-evolving customer environment and building on the excellent growth achieved by Jeff Clementz,” Roy said in a statement.
