Fujitsu launches A/NZ security services practice

Fujitsu has launched a security practice that will offer services to customers in Australia and New Zealand.

These include consulting, assurance, risk and support from the vendor’s Sydney security operations centre.

The vendor will be working with clients including federa and / state government departments and ASX-listed companies.

The practice operates in close collaboration with Fujitsu security teams around the world, sharing intelligence and methodologies, and bringing technologies such as Palmsecure biometrics, to the market.

According to Fujitsu A/NZ CISO Brendan Smith, the service was established to help customers protect their information and systems from agile threats.

“Our regional team is backed by Fujitsu’s global IT and systems integration offering. If a client requires our biometrics expertise from Japan, input on defence systems from the UK, or endpoint or cloud infrastructure, we can draw on the appropriate skillset,” he said in a statement.
