Global IT governance and security association, ISACA, has announced that two Australians are on its 11 member board of directors for 2015-16.

Vital Interacts governance advisory practice lead Garry Barnes was re-elected international vice president of ISACA while BRM Holdich director of information security, Jo Stewart-Rattray, was appointed international director.

According to Stewart-Rattray, ISACA has introduced cybersecurity certifications which provide “greater opportunities” for professional development.

“These are just some of the reasons that I believe ISACA is the association of choice in the fields of information security, cybersecurity, assurance and governance.”
