Nimble Storage creates A/NZ managing director role

Nimble Storage A/NZ managing director Bede Hackney.

Nimble Storage has hired Bede Hackney for the newly created role of Australia and New Zealand managing director.

Hackney previously worked at VMware as director of product sales. Based in Sydney, he will be tasked with leading the company’s sales and go-to-market strategy.

According to Nimble Storage Asia Pacific and Japan vice president Peter O’Connor, businesses are looking for a storage platform to optimise enterprise-wide applications.

“Hackney's experience and leadership will be critical for our company growth in A/NZ,” said O’Connor.
