Prudential Promotes IT Executive

FRAMINGHAM (03/22/2000) - The Prudential Insurance Company of America has named Jimmie Gonzalez vice president of operations and systems for its guaranteed products - namely, the company's retirement and death benefit plans.

Gonzalez, who joined the Newark, N.J.-based insurance giant in 1989, was most recently vice president of the firm's fixed income operations. Gonzalez will report to Scott Sleyster, the president of Prudential's guaranteed products division and Marian Lucia, head of Prudential Institutional's operations and systems group.
