Google Phone: first image revealed

An image on the Android Developer site (click on "Dev Phones") is apparently the HTC-made successor to the Android Dev Phone 1, and is already in the hands of select Google employees.

Apple readies hybrid iPhone, report says

A new report from OTR Global says Apple plans to release a UMTS/CDMA hybrid iPhone in the third quarter of 2010. If true, the new iPhone will play nice with Verizon's network and spell an end to AT&T's exclusivity contract in the U.S. -- which is already slated to end sometime next year.

Apple and Cartier resolve legal tussle over iPhone app

Apple removed two iPhone applications from its App Store that allegedly infringed on the trademark of Cartier International, according to <a href="http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124303659766448885.html">the Wall Street Journal</a>. The move came just one day after the French jeweler and watchmaker filed the suit against Apple for distributing the free iPhone application Fake Watch and selling a premium Fake Watch Gold Edition. Both apps told time with look-alike famous wrist watches, including Cartier's Tank watch.
