Google last month launched a Web programming language called <a href="http://www.infoworld.com/d/application-development/google-dart-hits-bulls-eye-web-developers-175891">Dart</a> intended to address the shortcomings of JavaScript, and some have even called it a JavaScript killer. Accommodating large programs and team-based development, Dart is object-oriented and uses a virtual machine.
