Look today for a Microsoft patch that repairs a vulnerability in old versions of Internet Explorer that have been exploited in the wild and that persisted despite a Fix It tool issued last month.
Microsoft has released 13 security updates for its August Patch Tuesday update, five of which it considered likely to see reliable exploits developed for within the next 30 days.
It's a busy day for IT administrators and information security professionals. Not only is today Microsoft's Patch Tuesday for the month of April, it is also the day of Adobe's quarterly security updates.
