• MYOB dumps plan to acquire Reckon’s Accountant Group

  MYOB has dumped it plan to acquire Reckon’s Accountant Group Assets, the ASX-listed software company announced this morning.

• Reckon sells accounting practice software arm to Myob

  ​Accounting software provider Reckon will sell its accounting practice management software business to MYOB for $180 million in an all-cash deal to pay off debt.

  Financial software company Reckon (ASX:RKN) has recorded solid growth in its net profit after tax of 42 per cent year on year to $8.8 million for the half year to June 30.
