Teradata Marketing Applications carried out research into the consumer email marketing campaigns 50 of the largest ecommerce sites in Australia. Through our research, we discovered that whilst 92% of the ecommerce players in the market have a regular email newsletter, the content is largely generic resulting in a missed opportunity to incite buying and to establish a lasting connection with the customer by sending relevant, targeted and personalised communications to their database.
