Panorama Synergy updates investors
Technology company Panorama Synergy (ASX:PSY) has held a conference call to advise investors of its current business strategy.
At the call, which took place at 2pm Sydney time on Thursday, managing director Terry Walsh answered investor questions about the status of the magneto-photonic crystal switch it is developing.
The switch has applications in new display technologies. PSY shares ended Thursday's trading unchanged at $0.071.
Entellect dates share consolidation
Educational software developer Entellect Solutions (ASX:ESN) has set the timeline for its share consolidation activities.
The company, which is consolidating its shares as part of its joint venture deal with its now majority shareholder Mooter Media, said it intends to dispatch the consolidated shares on 16 February.
Shares in ESN are currently suspended at $0.002. Entellect said they will remain suspended throughout the consolidation timeline.
Sofcom to acquire production company
Suspended former software company Sofcom (ASX:SOF) has revealed it will make its latest attempt at a takeover, this time for film and television production company Whip Cracking Productions.
The company, which has been acting as a shell since 2003, has revealed it has appointed three new directors to its board while it finalises negotiations for the deal.
The directors are Antonio D'Anna, John Sitkie and Manny Stamatopoulos. Whip Cracking Productions develops content for the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Sofcom abandoned its next most recent attempt at an acquisition, a reverse takeover bid for electronic tracking and monitoring company Bluechiip Technologies, in December.
