Apple.com is listed above the retail sites of Windows PC manufacturers such as HP (ranked 24th), Dell (36th).
Apple's iTunes site is ranked at 66th.
This is the fourth annual Experian Hitwise Hot 100 e-Retailer list.
Amazon grabs first place (Amazon.co.uk) and sixth (Amazon.com).
Argos came in second, followed by Play.com. Retail giant Tesco came in one place below Apple in fifth.
Other tech, gadget and games online retailers included: John Lewis (11th), Currys (26th), Comet (40th), Game (43rd), PCWorld.co.uk (45th), eBuyer (61st), Maplin (65th), Dixons (80th)
Mobile e-ratilers included: O2 (48th), Orange (51st), Vodafone (56th), Carphone Warehouse (59th), 3 (90th) and T-Mobile (96th).
