A local consultancy firm has launched a service aimed at helping failing projects.
The service offers a 'health check' to assess structural issues and projected outcomes and 'surgery' through solutions as well as aftercare via post-implementation and reviews, said Kevin Sharkie, business director for Ajilon Consulting.
Project Doctor's approach offers business capability to manage a failing project to completion, he said.
Ajilon Consulting spokesperson Anne Roeleveld said Project Doctor was recently used to assist a company with collaboration on a project between its acquired companies to merge newly acquired financial services firms into a central system," Roeleveld said. "The companies weren't able to agree on process and the centralization of the backend failed."
Ajilon Consulting offers 15 virtual questions on its Web site where project managers can assess the success rate of their tasks against check-list queries.
