JB Hi-Fi appoints new CIO

Simon Page joins retailer from Australia Post

Simon Page has been appointed JB Hi-Fi's CIO.

Page joins JB Hi-Fi from Australia Post where he was general manager of information, digital and technology for two years.

He is also a former CTO at Tabcorp Australia.

He begins his new role next month.

Page will report to JB Hi-Fi CEO Richard Murray.

The retailer today also announced the appointment of Kevin Ramsdale as marketing director.

"We are delighted to have Kevin and Simon join the JB Hi-Fi team," Murray said in a statement.

"Both Kevin and Simon are proven executives and highly regarded in their respective fields," the CEO said.

"Kevin has a strong track record of driving commercial performance in customer focused businesses and Simon has consistently delivered high quality technology solutions. Kevin and Simon join JB Hi-Fi at an exciting time and add further depth and quality to the management team. We look forward to the contributions they will make to JB Hi-Fi’s continued success."
