Siebel Delivers Apps for Handhelds, DB2, Solaris

At its Worldwide User Week conference in San Diego, Siebel Systems Inc. today announced availability of a handheld application for mobile salespeople, as well as front-office applications for Solaris and DB2.
Siebel Sales Handheld, which runs on Microsoft Corp.'s Windows CE platform, is the first in an expected series of handheld software applications, the company said today. The software includes Siebel Sync technology that allows two-way data and application synchronization and a tools suite that lets system administrators customize views and data on handheld devices.
